Founding Director
Cilla Vee Life Arts is an
inter-disciplinary performing arts organization founded in 2002 (originally
under the name Cilla Vee Movement
Projects)
CVLA presents performative art work in the
context of installation and performance that includes: dance and movement,
music and sound, text and spoken word, image – moving and still, set design,
costume and make-up, plus other artistic forms whose presence or process can be
performative.
2002 – 2006 CVLA was based at H&H Production
in the Mott Haven / Port Morris area of the South Bronx.
2006 – 2007 at ORT in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Since 2007 CVLA has been based in Asheville NC.
